GOTS

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the international certification of organic fibers for textile use, which guarantees the elimination of environmental risks, the efficient use of resources, a low environmental impact, attention to working conditions, and a respect for social justice in the workplace.

In short, this certification affirms the biological nature of the textile’s fibers, from the collection of the raw product to the processing of the finished product, which must also be socially sustainable.

The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is a certification of products made from recycled materials and manufacturing activities. It emphasizes the value of products made from recycled materials in compliance with environmental and social criteria, which extends to all stages of the production chain. The GRS is promoted by the Textile Exchange, one of the most important non-profit organizations promoting responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector on an international level. With this standard, the Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for growth in a model of sustainable production and consumption. It aims at helping to reduce the consumption of resources (virgin raw materials, water, and energy) and at increasing the quality of recycled products..

The Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX is a certification attesting that products have been tested to ensure against the presence of harmful substances, from the thread to the finished garment.
