Who We Are
From the beginning, we have believed in the pre-eminence and value of textiles made in Italy.
Our Organization
Mario Cucchetti Tessuti was established in the 1950’s in one of the most important textile districts of Italy. Since then, our company has continuously invested in technology along with our organizational structures, logistics management, and business communications in order to obtain the best social and economic results.
Our company is a well-coordinated operation, making us a reliable and effective business partner capable of satisfying our clients’ needs both in the design of new fabrics as well as in filling orders with precision.
We have a presence throughout Europe and in North America as well as Asia with a sales network that comprehends and responds to each of our clients’ needs thanks to expertise gained over time and the support of our in-house team of tech specialists.
For years, we have followed a policy of investing in innovative industrial equipment, acquiring machinery equipped with the best technology available.
Our supply chain has been optimized to reduce delivery times, moving merchandise quickly to market. Today, we are recognized as a landmark in the Italian fashion system.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create fabrics that interpret new trends in luxury, that appeal to a sense of beauty, and that demonstrate our passion for what we do.
That is why:
• We invest in research and study new products and finishes in order to create collections that inspire designers.
• Our efforts are focused on improving every detail of all the stages of
production in order to maintain standards of the highest quality.
• We are happy to work with our clients in designing new fabrics, offering another degree of exclusivity and customization.
We seek to capture the spirit of the age, taking inspiration from all forms of art in order to discover new trends in luxury.
Social Responsibility
Mario Cucchetti Tessuti has united our concern with Social Responsibility and Quality, Care for the Environment and Safety in a single approach to operations, capable of ensuring the efficiency of the company’s systems both in terms of internal dynamics as well as in relation with our stakeholders and our region.
Corporate Care
Cucchetti Tessuti has internalized a business culture centered on a respect for the value of our human capital, believing that this is the best way to maintain and increase the typically Italian competitive advantage represented by our cultural experience. Our company promotes an inclusive working environment, opposes all forms of discrimination, and supports lifelong learning projects to improve the development and renewal of our staff’s skills. We support school-work programs in order to create a privileged channel to the youth who are a driving force of creativity, the strong point in the Made In Italy ideal.
Quality
Continuous improvement in our production processes and investments in technology and management control systems combined with the professionalism of our workforce ensure that quality is a strong point of our business.
Our knitting department is equipped with a modern fleet of machines that are technologically advanced and constantly being renewed, managed by workers motivated by the highest professionalism.
The Environment
Sustainability means guaranteeing development that works for the planet and must therefore be an indispensable objective for and constraint upon the company. In the textile sector, in particular, it means energy saving and choosing fibers and processes that reduce water consumption and the use of chemical substances, as well as the recycling of fibers and raw materials
Cucchetti Tessuti has made sustainability a corporate objective upon which to assess production processes and the types of products made. For years now we have also used solar energy, which has resulted in a reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 50 tons per year.
Safety
Workers as well as production processes must be considered from the point of view of safety. This is why, every year, we allocate resources to improving the working environment and renewing the machinery used in logistics, knitting, and packaging operations.
